Questions
Do I really need to winterize in Texas?
Most winters are mild, but North Texas still gets hard freezes. Water left in a ballast pump, heater core or engine block can freeze and crack it overnight.
Can you work at a marina or storage lot?
Yes, where outside technicians are allowed. Some marinas and storage lots restrict outside service, so please confirm with your marina or lot that we can work on your boat there before booking.
What do you need from me?
Access to the boat and, ideally, a hose spigot nearby. We bring the tools, fluids and spill pads. You don't need to be home.
How do I pay?
Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay when the job is done. No deposit for standard service.

I started Ballast & Block Marine because boat owners shouldn't have to trailer to a dealer and wait weeks for routine service. I bring the shop to you.
I focus only on inboards and sterndrives, so your boat gets someone who knows its systems. Beyond routine service, I also handle running gear work like rudder and prop replacement. Ask for a quote.
